moving

well, october has begun!  the end of this month will be the end of our four-year stay at lakewood lodge apartments just outside of broadripple in indianapolis.  while we've loved the location for what it has to offer in the surrounding area, the apartment itself, especially the apartment complex, have been lacking.  and now with the recent reselling of the complex, we are extremely disappointed with the new owners.  they brought thieves to the maintenance staff, let the potholes go far too long, are spending money in unnecessary places (new sidewalks, remodeling the complex office)...so we are moving on.  for an undetermined period of time we will be living with my dad in the (AWESOME) basement so we can work harder on paying off debt and saving up for a down payment on a house of our own. 

Another Door Opens

I feel as though it is appropriate to start fresh, begin anew with a new blog, a new look, a new history.  With beginning a new era in life (marriage), it just seems right.  Getting married on July 16, 2011 was the first page in Scott and Suzin McKenzie's new life together.  I do not know what we will find down this road, but we're facing it with each other, at the beginning.
